How to play Domino Kingdom

1. Build a kingdom on a 5×5 grid around your castle by drafting dominoes.
2. Each round, dominoes are lined up in ascending number order. Taking an early (weaker) domino lets you pick earlier next round; taking a strong one costs you turn position.
3. On your turn: place the domino you claimed last round, then claim one from the next line.
4. Placement: a domino must touch your castle or match at least one neighboring terrain (horizontally or vertically), and your whole kingdom must fit in 5×5.
5. If a domino cannot be legally placed, it is discarded — no points for it.
6. Scoring: each connected same-terrain area scores its size × the crowns in it. No crowns, no points.
7. Highest total wins. Ties go to the largest single area, then most crowns.

• Pick order matters more than the tile: taking a lower-ranked domino in the market lets you choose earlier next round.
• Crowns multiply: one crown on a two-tile lake is worth 2, but one crown on a six-tile forest is worth 6. Grow big regions and put crowns in them.
• A domino with no crown in a region you have not started is worth nothing — take it only for the pick position it gives you.
• Keep the 5×5 in mind from the first placement: build outward from the castle in every direction rather than in one long line.
• Discarding is not a disaster; discarding a crown is. Plan a slot for every crown tile you take.
