First to 10,000 (or 5,000 for a quick game) and everyone else gets one last turn to catch them. How to play Farkle

  1. On your turn roll all six dice. You must set aside at least one die that scores: tap the dice to keep them.
  2. Scoring: a single 1 is 100 and a single 5 is 50. Three of a kind is 100 times the face (three 2s are 200), except three 1s, which are 1,000. Every die past three doubles it: four 2s are 400, five are 800, six are 1,600. A straight 1-2-3-4-5-6 is 1,500, and so are three pairs. Only dice from the same roll make a combination.
  3. Every die you keep must score, and you keep them from the roll you just made. Then choose: ROLL the dice that are left to add more, or BANK the turn's points into your score.
  4. If a roll has nothing in it that scores, that is a FARKLE: every point of the turn is lost and the dice pass on. The fewer dice you roll, the likelier it is.
  5. HOT DICE: score with all six dice and you get all six back to roll again, keeping the turn's points.
  6. The first to reach the target (10,000, or 5,000 for a quick game) starts the FINAL ROUND: everybody else gets one more turn to beat them. The highest score then wins. With the "500 in one turn first" option, nobody can bank until they score 500 or more in a single turn.

Farkle FAQ

How do you score in Farkle?
A 1 is 100 and a 5 is 50. Three of a kind is 100 times the face, and three 1s are 1,000. Each die past three doubles it. A 1-6 straight or three pairs is 1,500.
What is a farkle?
A roll with nothing in it that scores. You lose every point of that turn and the dice pass to the next player.
What are hot dice?
When all six dice you have kept score, you pick all six up and roll again, keeping the turn's points.
How many can play?
Two to six. Share the link with friends, or let the bots take the empty seats.
How does the game end?
The first to reach 10,000 (or 5,000) starts the final round: everybody else gets one more turn, and the highest score wins.
Do I need an account?
No. Type a name and play โ€” no signup, no download, nothing to install. Making an account is optional and only exists to keep your stats, nickname and preferences across devices.
