Play Yukon Solitaire Online Free
Yukon is Klondike with the stock dealt out: all fifty-two cards go into the seven piles at the start, and any face-up card can be moved with every card on top of it, in order or not, as long as the card you move fits. Build the four foundations from ace to king by suit to win. It takes more thought than Klondike and rewards digging. Free in your browser, with standard scoring, Auto finish, a clock, and chat at every table so friends can watch. No download and no account.

How to play Yukon Solitaire
- All fifty-two cards are dealt into seven piles: one face-up card on the first pile, and on each of the other six, one to six face-down cards with five face-up cards on top. There is no stock.
- Build the four foundations up by suit from ace to king. Clear all fifty-two cards onto them and you win.
- On the piles, a card goes on one of the other colour and one rank higher: a red six on a black seven.
- The Yukon rule: ANY face-up card can be moved, together with every card on top of it, whether those cards are in order or not. Only the card at the bottom of the group has to fit. Tap a face-up card to pick it up with everything above it, then tap where it goes.
- Only a king, with whatever is on top of it, may start an empty pile.
- Uncovering a face-down card turns it up. A card on a foundation may come back down to a pile when you need it.
- Scoring: 10 for each card to a foundation and 5 for every card turned face up. Once every pile is a single run in order, Auto finish plays the rest for you.
- A deal you cannot finish is not a draw: give it up and deal again. Play Again keeps your seat.
Yukon Solitaire strategy
The basics that turn knowing the rules into winning games โ what to do first, what to keep, what to avoid.
- Turn cards over first. Most deals are won or lost on getting the face-down cards up early, so prefer the move that uncovers one.
- You can move a card out from under a jumble: a group does not have to be in order. Use that to dig straight down to the card you need.
- Empty piles are precious, but only a king can use one. Clear a pile when you have a king whose group is blocking something.
- Send cards up to the foundations steadily, but keep low cards on the table while you still need them to hang the other colour on.
- Look for the pile with the most face-down cards and work on it from the start.
Yukon Solitaire FAQ
- How is Yukon different from Klondike?
- There is no stock: every card is dealt into the piles at the start, most of them face up. And you may move ANY face-up card together with everything on top of it, even if those cards are not in order. Building on the piles is the same: down by one, alternating colour.
- What can go on an empty pile?
- Only a king, together with whatever cards are on top of it.
- Is every deal winnable?
- No. A deal with no move left ends on its own; one that is going round in circles can be given up and dealt again.
- Can friends watch?
- Yes. Share the table link and they can watch the deal live and chat while you play.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Type a name and play โ no signup, no download, nothing to install. Making an account is optional and only exists to keep your stats, nickname and preferences across devices.
- Is it really free?
- Yes, all of it. Every game on Board Game Universe is free to play, with no premium tier holding anything back.
- Can I play on my phone?
- Yes. It runs in a mobile browser on phones and tablets as well as on a desktop โ there is no app to download.
- How do I play with my friends?
- Start a table and send your friends the link. They open it, type a name, and sit down. Moves and table chat happen in real time.
- Can I play against the computer?
- Yes. Add a bot to any table and it plays a proper game โ useful for filling a seat while you wait for a fourth.
