Play TriPeaks Solitaire Online Free
TriPeaks is the solitaire of long runs: twenty-eight cards in three overlapping peaks, one card on the foundation, and every play a card one rank higher or lower than the last, kings and aces counting as neighbours. Each card turns face up as the cards over it go. Chain a run as long as you can, turn the stock when you run dry, and clear all three peaks to win. Free in your browser, with a clock, a score that rewards long runs, and chat at every table so friends can watch. No download and no account.

How to play TriPeaks Solitaire
- Twenty-eight cards are dealt in three overlapping peaks. Only the ten cards along the bottom start face up; a card turns face up the moment both cards overlapping it are gone. One card starts the foundation and the other twenty-three are the stock.
- Play any face-up peak card that is ONE rank higher or ONE rank lower than the foundation card. Suit does not matter. Tap a lit card to play it.
- The ranks go round the corner: a king or a two may go on an ace, and an ace or a queen on a king.
- Keep the run going: each card played becomes the new foundation card, so 6, 7, 8, 7, 6 is five plays in a row.
- When nothing plays, tap the stock to turn its next card onto the foundation. That ends the run and starts a new one from the new card. There is one pass through the stock.
- Clear all three peaks to win. Score: each card in a run scores one more than the card before it (a run of five scores 1+2+3+4+5), the top card of each peak scores 15 more, and on a win every stock card left over scores 5.
- When the stock is empty and nothing plays, the deal is over. Play Again deals a fresh one on the same seat.
TriPeaks Solitaire strategy
The basics that turn knowing the rules into winning games โ what to do first, what to keep, what to avoid.
- Long runs are where the points are: before each play, look for the card that keeps the chain going AFTER this one.
- When two cards both play, take the one that turns over a face-down card. A new face is a new option; a card that uncovers nothing can wait.
- Work the peaks evenly. A face-down card in the second row needs two cards gone from under it, and one stubborn base card can hold a whole peak shut.
- Remember the corner: kings and aces are neighbours here, so a king is not the end of a run.
- Count the stock. Twenty-three cards is not many; turn one only when no play is left.
TriPeaks Solitaire FAQ
- Does suit matter?
- No. Only rank: a card plays if it is one higher or one lower than the foundation card, whatever the suit.
- Can I go from a king to an ace?
- Yes. In TriPeaks the ranks go round the corner, so an ace plays on a king and a king on an ace. (Golf Solitaire, its cousin, does not allow that.)
- How does scoring work?
- Each card in a run scores one more than the one before it, so long runs are worth far more than short ones. Turning the stock starts a new run. The top card of each peak is worth 15 more, and a win scores 5 for every stock card you did not need.
- Can every deal be won?
- No, but TriPeaks is one of the friendlier solitaires. A deal that runs out of plays ends on its own, and Play Again deals the next one.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Type a name and play โ no signup, no download, nothing to install. Making an account is optional and only exists to keep your stats, nickname and preferences across devices.
- Is it really free?
- Yes, all of it. Every game on Board Game Universe is free to play, with no premium tier holding anything back.
- Can I play on my phone?
- Yes. It runs in a mobile browser on phones and tablets as well as on a desktop โ there is no app to download.
- How do I play with my friends?
- Start a table and send your friends the link. They open it, type a name, and sit down. Moves and table chat happen in real time.
- Can I play against the computer?
- Yes. Add a bot to any table and it plays a proper game โ useful for filling a seat while you wait for a fourth.
